10 Miles Out - Heading East
My brother Matthew and I had been talking about taking the boat far out into Lake Michigan since the wintertime. Since the day was perfect, we decided it was the best time to do it.
These photos were taken early morning (about 8:00 AM)
This is a picture of one of the water treatment plants located about 4.5 miles off the shoreline.
Life could not be better....
We proceeded to go due east another 6 more miles.
Here is what Chicago looked like from about 10.5 miles from Buckingham Fountain. I really believe we could have crossed the rest of the lake since it was very calm. Nevertheless, we turned around and headed back to shore.
A nice picture of the John Hancock Building.
