Mounting The Hensley

I took these the next day since it took about 4 hours total to install the hitch,. The next day, when it was 40 degrees outside and raining, I practiced hitching it up and adjusting the chains.

Hitching up a Hensley for the first time was a miserable experience, but I expected that from all of the postings on the Internet. .  I am going to continue to practice more

The Hensley hitched up.

The car was not perfectly straight so the bars are at a slight angle.

I had to lengthen the safety chains.  Since I was not prepared to cut off the extra chains, I needed to bundle up the extra (from the old chains) since it was dragging on the ground.  No, I am not expecting a bungee cord to hold up my trailer.
