A Trip To A Farm:
I recently took the afternoon off and went on Parker and Trevor's field trip to a dairy farm in northern Illinois.
Trevor is listening attentively to the milking process.
Parker is excited about his trip to the farm.
God Bless America !
Look, a real farmer.
The children are listening quite attentively as our guild told us about the milking process.
Cows:
Here are a few interesting facts I learned about cows at the trip:
A baby cow has no teeth. However, I did not volunteer to put my hand in her mouth.
An individual cow generally eats 150 lbs of feed per day.
An engorged cow that needs to be milked.
The milking machines.
