The EOLL 10/11 Nationals All Stars opened up with a heart breaking loss to Winter Park in an 8-7 dual.  Despite some strong hitting in the first couple of innings and solid pitching, our team could not put together a complete game.

In an exclusive, post game interview, Manager Rich Link, was to the point. “At this level, we needed to put together a complete game. We played solid in the first few innings, but we needed to capitalize on opportunities with runners in scoring position.  Also, we needed to play better defense.”

To make it to the finals, EOLL now needs to win the rest of their games and hope Winter Park loses.  While we can’t control the other team’s results, we can can control our own outcome !
