WOLVES LEARN LESSONS IN EARLY SEASON DOUBLE HEADER

The Avalon Park Wolves opened the season against two established teams in Lakeland, Florida.  The Wolves played the Central Florida Havoc and the Lakeland Golden Eagles.  The Wolves lost 12-6 and 4-2 respectively, but the games were very close.  In fact, the kids and coaches learned a great deal.

“I was very proud of our team.  This was the first time our team played together and considering our opponents and our first experience on a larger field, we did very well.  When I look back at the game, we made our share of mistakes, but we made our share of good plays as well.  Our lessons at M Pact sports really has improved out hitting,” remarked Manager Ray Elwell in his post game interview. “We had a few challenges in the field, but we can correct these things with practice. Our kids kept positive attitude and we got better as the day went on.”
