Yellow Tools
Like heavy duty trucks, I like heavy duty tools.
That's why all my tools are yellow.
I have to admit it. I am not a handy man at all. I sell networking products for a living.
In fact, I have all the tools I need: a credit card and a telephone.
However, every so often Jocelyn will ask me to fix something around the house. Other times I will get really inspired and attempt to build something. Whenever I try to fix anything, I follow the same pattern:
Get out my tools (the good part)
Attempt to fix the problem (e.g. repair a door or something)
Rapidly become enraged as my attempts to build anything erode into a litany of swear words.
Call my father in law, Andy, to fix the problem. |
Ok, fixing things aren't all that bad for two reasons:
I get to swear a lot around the house (it feels good to blow off some aggression from the week and I can 'cuss with the best of them)
But most of all, I get to use my Dewalt Tools.
If you can't build anything, you might as well look good while you are doing it. That is why I have standardized on Yellow Tools. I am sure other tools are nice (Milwaukee or Bosch) but the fact is
"If your tools are yellow, everything will be all right."
I have two Dewalt Products:
Cordless Drill:

An industrial grade power saw:

It just feels good to use my Dewalt circular saw
Two summers ago, I used this saw (actually, my father in law and his assistant, Jopee, used the saw) to build my deck. It cut through the lumber like a hot knife through butter.
Dewalt Gear:
I also have a Dewalt hat that I like to wear on the weekends. To purchase Dewalt merchandise, go to:
